About Storm Pro Baseball

Lake Elsinore Diamond, commonly called The Diamond, or Storm Stadium, serves as a site for the Single A baseball team, the Lake Elsinore Storm, which is a farm team for the San Diego Padres.  This team was formerly a farm team for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.  Also, semipro football team, the Riverside-Elsinore Dolphins of the Western States Football League was active in 1996-98.  The stadium now hosts the Banning-Elsinore Eagles of the California Football Association, a minor American football league.  At this time, neither football nor soccer are played at The Diamond, but special events, such as concerts with stars such as Willie Nelson and ZZ Top, are held there.
