The Murrieta Valley Unified School District includes 21 schools that serve 22,274 students in grades K through 12.  The School District has 24 students for every full-time equivalent teacher. <br>

<strong><u>Higher Education</u></strong><br>
The closest University of California campus is the University of California, Riverside.  It is typically a 35-40 minute drive from Murrieta, CA.  In 2014, UCR was ranked #1 in the country by Time Magazine when using the criteria that was proposed by the President’s administration.  <br>
Murrieta is central to four California State University campuses located at San Bernardino, Fullerton, San Marcos, and Cal Poly in Pomona.<br>
The Mt. San Jacinto College campus is very close by in Menifee.  </p>
